Lucca, Nov 8th, 1985

He earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Pisa and the UK degree recognition from  KCL. He went on to earn a Business Law diploma from the University of London. In addition to these studies he has been teaching ESL privately since 2010. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, reading and watching tv series.

He has a strong passion for the humanities and literature since high school. He got a degree in Theory of Literature from the University of Pisa. After various experiences of life abroad he decided to take advantage of his academic training devoting himself to teaching Italian for foreigners. He relaxes by reading and taking care of his own pets.

Norma Jean Bishop

Norma Jean Bishop


Ph.D in Comparative Literature (specialization Cultural Geography and Folklore) from Pennsylvania State University, Norma Jean Bishop moved from the USA to Paris a few weeks after graduating. In Paris she taught at the American University of Paris and was translator and administrator for Hautes Etudes Commerciales (international MBA program). In 1994 she moved to Lucca, where she has remained. Raised in a Coast Guard family, Norma took an early interest in languages and in her heritage (Italian/American). Since retiring several years ago, she has focused her energies on Tuscany’s Grapevine Magazine of which she is the owner and managing editor (through Grapevine Editions). Travel, history, literature, film and politics are among her interests.

He graduated with honours in Spanish and French at the University of Pisa. He gained experience in teaching  as a lecturer in Italian at the Académie de Corse. He earned a Master Degree in modern Euro-American Languages ​​and Literatures. In his spare time he likes reading classic novels and having long walks in the countryside.
